Biography
Jeremy is an award-winning travel writer, travel photographer and occasional TV presenter born in the UK and based in Brighton. He specialises in writing cliché-free travel features for independent-minded people who want to do more than just lounge in deckchairs and watch sunsets.
He has travelled widely in South East Asia and countries of the former Soviet Union and has also lived in Rwanda in East Africa, France and Australia. He has presented undercover reports on ITV1's Holidays Undercover. And appeared as an expert on Channel 5's the Hotel Inspector. He also wrote the new Frommer's guidebook Day By Day Seville.
He was formerly Travel Editor for Independent Magazines, writing regular travel features for their stable of weekly titles: Girl About Town, Ms London, 9-5, Midweek, London and More and Living Abroad Magazine (LAM). He has written travel features for The Daily Mail, The Times, the Independent, Wanderlust and Travel Weekly as well as working with a number of design agencies to produce customer magazines for travel businesses. In a previous incarnation he wrote TV scripts for The Big Breakfast.
He is currently working on a short term contract for web marketing and social media company iCrossing as Travel Editor, commissioning and writing travel features and destination guides for major UK tour operators and airlines.
Just to make life interesting he also edits and writes for a new magazine for men in Wales called RedHanded and is Co-Director of a web-video production company called digiB.
