Presenting for television

I presented undercover reports in the UK and overseas for ITV1's consumer travel show Holidays Undercover during summer 2006.

I appeared as an expert on Channel Five's The Hotel Inspector providing input as a guidebook writer to compliment the advice provided by the host Alex Polizzi, spring 2008. Guidebooks for Frommer's

My new guidebook to Seville for Frommer's Day By Day Seville has just been published. I took all the photographs too. (40,000 words, 300 pictures, 35 maps!) Frommer's is one of the largest travel publishers in the USA.

Chairing and speaking at seminars

I hosted debates about the future of travel publishing at the 2007 London Book Fair and the impact of the web on travel publishing at the 2007 World Travel Market. I also hosted a Bookseller seminar about the future of travel writing in May 2008 and spoke about social media in the travel sector online at WTM in 2009.
